Safety is fundamental

Safety is fundamental to SCAMP’s operations. We are committed to an incident free workplace, every day and everywhere that we provide underwater services. We only use the latest safety technology available to ensure that our expert teams are not put at risk, even when working in challenging environments. Every one of SCAMP’s physical stations uses the latest surface air supply, and we constantly monitor industry trends to ensure we’re the safest we can be at all times.

Our expert team

Our training and development programmes are designed to ensure that everyone who physically works with SCAMP is equipped to carry out their role in a safe and responsible manner.

Each member of our multi-national team of divers is accredited and certified, and complies with current underwater safety legislation. We require all our divers to make an active commitment to current legislation, and all our people to take responsibility and be accountable for ensuring compliance with SCAMP’s extensive health and safety framework.

Equipment

All of our diving and auxiliary equipment is in line with the latest technology available. Qualified dive technicians and shore crew ensure SCAMP maintains the highest operational capability in the safest way.

Compliance

SCAMP’s rigorous standards are based on the UK Government’s Health and Safety Executive regulations. We also ensure that we comply with health and safety laws and regulations in any country where we operate. With SCAMP you can rest assured that compliance is key throughout our global network.

Managing risk

SCAMP’s formal risk assessment framework is fundamental to ensuring we operate safely at all times. We actively identify risks and work to mitigate them before commencing operations.

Our health and safety framework

SCAMP’s formal risk assessment framework is fundamental to ensuring we operate safely at all times. We actively identify risks and work to mitigate them before commencing operations. SCAMP’s Diving Safety Management System underpins all our operation at surface and below the water. Our senior management team is responsible for our Health and Safety committee, and verifies our procedures and guiding principles to ensure SCAMP complies with current requirements. We have rigorous compliance policies in place and we maintain assessment, self-evaluation and audit programmes to ensure complete safety. Our technical and management teams meet regularly to review quality control and assurance audits.
